My 288th Journal Entry
My 287th Journal Entry
Hi, Journal!
Peanut butter is a weird food. I just completely do not know how foods like that get invented.
My 286th Journal Entry
Hi, Journal!
Dang it, I remembered I'm supposed to do math this time. Poopers.
So I guess there are 31 days in December and 30 in November and today's the 12th and there are 31 in October, so (uh-oh, hard part ... subtraction!) errr, 19 days left this month? Hey, I did it! And 19 + 31 is 50 and 50 + 30 is 80, so 80 days left this year!
Isn't there a book where they go around the world that fast? Seems like if they could go around the world, I could write another 14 journal entries.
Now the extra-hard part, division. How many times does 14 go into 80? It's not 10, that would be 140, way too many. But half 140 is 70, so I guess half of going into 80 10 times would be 5 times. Which means I've got 5 days and a little bit to write each entry?
Whoa, easy peasy!
Now I feel all confident from knowing how easy it's going to be ... and from doing math!
Success!
My 285th Journal Entry
Hi, Journal!
Holy mole-hole-aroni, I just realized we're practically up to 300 entries, Journal! If I want to get there by the end of the year, I bet I could do it. All it would take would be ... uh ... first, I guess, doing some math to figure out how many days are left in the year and how often I'll have to write an entry to get there in time.
Yech. Math! I mean, I know I could do it, but how is that fun?
I mean, I guess journaling doesn't always have to 100% be fun, but it doesn't have to be math either!
Hmm ... but on the other hand, if I do that math in a different entry, I'll already be two entries closer to hitting 300, so ...
Score! It's a plan, Journal.
See you there!
My 284th Journal Entry
Hi, Journal!
YAWN!!!
I'm sorry, but the boyfriend took so long writing and then Claire took a while coming up with a great poem and now I am just beat!
Time for some nighty-nighting!
