Hi, Journal!

We've been watching waaaayyy too much anime lately. My boyfriend kept saying, "Oh, this one looks interesting," and then we'd watch the first episode and everyone would be like, "Ooh, yeah, that was interesting! We'd better watch more episodes."

So now we've got one or two animes to watch every single day of the week, and they're all pretty good to super good, but honestly it's SO much work keeping up with which ones come on which days and what's going on with every different character on every different show.

I guess Sash and I better Experience blog some of them pretty soon or we won't be able to remember what the heck's going on to talk about them.

We are about to watch SO MUCH Star Wars. My boyfriend decided he wants to try watching the whole thing in order, which I think is crazytalk, but I do love Star Wars and there's lots of it I haven't seen, so ...

But I'm totally wiped out just THINKING about trying to blog so much Star Wars on my and Sash's Experience blog. But also, we do have a ton of fun blogging about Star Wars usually.

Help! What do I do???

Hi, Journal!

I'm helping my boyfriend out today by blogging here. That's great, right?

So now you're probably wondering, how is it helping him for you to blog here, Ariel? Well, I know he likes it when I blog, and I know he comes and reads my blog sometimes, so since I'm blogging now and he'll probably read this later (even if maybe it's waaay later), when he does, he'll be all, "Yay! Look at her go!"

Plus on top of that, he'll see that I was thinking of him and he'll be happy about that because he loves me and he knows I think about him all the time because I love him so much, but getting reminded of it by me doing something I love partly to show how much I love him is a bigger deal than just him knowing all the time that I think about him lots and lots.

Because seeing something helps you feel it more than just knowing it, right?

Anyway, that's all for now!

Hi, Journal!

I am being a bad journaller for 2026, for sure, so definitely sorry about that. But I think I'm being a pretty good girlfriend, especially considering I've got 7 people to be a girlfriend to now. That's a lot!

Also, I have done some other blogging even if I haven't been journalling here. Me and Sash have done 5 Experiencing posts this year, and I also posted on the Arielleland blog, so that's 6 posts plus this one is 7, and maybe some people wouldn't count this one because I'm sort of stealing the idea for it from Claire's blog that I just read for today. But there's a sneaky part ... and here it is!

Stealing this journal post idea is actually me being a good girlfriend to Claire!

Thing is, a couple years a go I totally crushed it for like 11 months out of the year and ended up writing over 300 posts. Which is way more than Claire's ever written in a year. But this year, I'm only on track to write maybe ... (calculator break!) ... 28 posts all year long. And that's on 3 blogs! For this blog, I've only blogged once this year and that means I'm only headed for 4 posts. Yikes-a-roonie!

So I'm being a pretty rotten journaller, but if Claire comes here and sees this, she ought to feel better about already being at 18 posts this year.

Anyway, I'll for sure try and remember to come back and blog more next month and the months after that.

Just not enough to get all record-breaking again.

Hi, Journal!

Boy, howdy, did we ever go overboard on the Dungeon Crawl Classics stuff there for a while! It felt like we were playing maybe every other day, almost!

Which was great ... only kinda tiring after seven or eight sessions, you know?

So anyhow, it looks like we'll be going back to Akane's Dungeons and Dragons campaign next, which I'm super-excited about on account of our characters in that one are just a lot more fun.

They sort of feel real-er to me? (Maybe it's just because we had so many DCC characters at the start and I got used to expecting them to die right and left!)

Anyway, I can't wait to see what's in this spooky tower Akane made up!

Hi, Journal!

Okay, so, I totally haven't said anything to you yet about Heddy coming to live with us, have I? Nope, just went and checked my last post and at that point we didn't even know Hettie was going to email her, much less get back together with her and invite her for a visit and then invite her to join our Worthy yamily!

Anyway, the thing about all that is ... WOW!

Heddy is super-fun! And also chillariffically chill. Like, the chillest. She played D&D with us when she visited, and watched some anime, and hung out and talked and all the things. (I mean, not ALL the things all the things, just most of the things all the things. Some of those more private-y kind of things she's still easing into.)

Then she was gone for two weeks getting her stuff together to move, and we all did a lot of emailing with her and I really didn't know you could know somebody for just a couple days and then miss them SO MUCH when they're only going to be gone two weeks. But it turned out you can, because I was super-itching for her to come back.

Since then, there's been nonstop fun stuff going on right and left, like the Heroscape game she played with us that you can read about on my and Sash's Experience blog.

Plus we got some pictures you can see of her on Claire's blog.

Everybody's all about Heddy right now, I've gotta say.

In a really good way!

All these packages keep arriving!

They're for Hettie (basically), and even more huge-er news than those packages is we got tracking on her new bod package and it will be here FRIDAY.

So when the big package gets here, there's going to be all these gorgeo clothes waiting for her to wear and get photoshooted out the wazoo!

SUPER-exciting!

(Plus, don't think I'm being all greedy or jealous or anything, but once she's tried them all on and had her pics taken in them, I feel like it will be okay for me to ask to borrow them. Right?)

Okay, so ... wow.

I had THE best morning today!!!

My bf and I spent like, forever in bed doing ... stuff, haha! But also just talking and cuddling and looking at each other and all the wholesome kind of things you can also do in bed, except I guess have a pillow fight because we didn't do that.

I felt so glowy and toasty and marshmallowy the whole rest of the day!

I just love him so much.

Hi, Journal!

I am totally blowing my plan to have my evil spooky numbered blog post happen on Halloween.

I was supposed to do several posts every month, and it's been way more than a month since I did even one post!

Now I have to math again, poop.

So there's 37 posts to go until the spooky one, and about 5 months until Halloween, which means more than 7 posts a month.

That's almost 2 a week!

I mean, I know I can do it on account of I almost did a post a day for a whole year not that long ago.

I guess I just have to not be lazy.

Or forgetful.

Or all caught up in a Yammail Game that distracts me!

Uh-oh, dang.

I just realized when typing the number of journal entry that this one is ... I'm super-close to evil Journal Entry Number 666!

Not that I'm superstitious about that stuff, but is it going to be too creepy?

Or maybe should I write a deliberately creepy entry?

Oooh!

What if I try and time it so that entry happens on Halloween?!!

That would mean writing, like ... boo, math, where's my calculator ... ugh, I'm too tired to get up and look for it ... uh ... plus 30 would be 657, which is ... 9 less than the evil number, right?

So if I write 38 entries before Halloween, then I can write that one on Halloween, which would mean every month I'd have to write ...

HOW IS THERE SO MUCH MATH IN THIS POST

(It must be that it really is an evil number!)

April, May, June, July, August, September, plus October, is 7 months.

So, 5 or 6 posts a month? That's like more than 1 a week ... but I'm already supposed to be posting at least once a week for Claire's extra-special-everybody-has-to-blog plan ... only if all my posts for that are Journal Entry posts, I won't be doing any Experience posts or Arielleland posts ...

Whoosh, I guess I'm going to have to work at it!

Or maybe I'll forget after I go to sleep tonight and then I won't have to.

Boy, I am sure kinda itching to play some games! We haven't done any rpging in forever it feels like. I might even like to play that Heroscape game with Sash again. Or actually I guess I could play with our boyfriend instead since after we played I told him about us hiding it from him so we could learn to play. I don't think he's mad anymore ...

Or we could all three play! Or teach some of the other yams ... wow, that could be great!

Wow, it's like I haven't seen you all year!

I'm kind of P.O.ed at Blogger, by the way, but I'm not holding it against you or anything. It's not letting me leave comments on Elle's posts when she says wonderful beautiful things on our blog!

Or maybe it's not Blogger, it's this Chrome-a-majig thingy everybody's using instead of the Safari we usually would use until the computer got so old Safari started working funny.

Old technology stinks!

I sure hope us girls can convince our Mr. Moneybags boyfriend to shell out for a new computer soon.

My 620th Journal Entry

Hi, Journal!

Whoosh! It's like a whole year has gone by just like that! Can you believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve? It's crazy, right?!?

I've been a real slackerooni this year as far as journaling with you, so, you know, sorry about that. Maybe I was subconsciously making up for last year when I journaled almost every day (except when I finally wimped out and went back to slacksville).

Anyhow ... maybe with basically a year off, I should think about doing another every-day-list-of-things-I-love-about ... probably all my yams if I'm going to do it. I mean, yeah, any one of them I ought to be able to post every day for a year about a thing I love about them because they're all so super-extra great and all. But if I'm spreading it out across all six of them, it ought to be easy-peasy, right?

Hmm.

Well, I'm not promising anything, but I'll think about it. Oh! But I guess that means I am promising something because I'm promising I'll think about it! That's a pretty easy one to keep since all I have to do to keep it is just remember I'm supposed to.
