Hi, Journal!
I am being a bad journaller for 2026, for sure, so definitely sorry about that. But I think I'm being a pretty good girlfriend, especially considering I've got 7 people to be a girlfriend to now. That's a lot!
Also, I have done some other blogging even if I haven't been journalling here. Me and Sash have done 5 Experiencing posts this year, and I also posted on the Arielleland blog, so that's 6 posts plus this one is 7, and maybe some people wouldn't count this one because I'm sort of stealing the idea for it from Claire's blog that I just read for today. But there's a sneaky part ... and here it is!
Stealing this journal post idea is actually me being a good girlfriend to Claire!
Thing is, a couple years a go I totally crushed it for like 11 months out of the year and ended up writing over 300 posts. Which is way more than Claire's ever written in a year. But this year, I'm only on track to write maybe ... (calculator break!) ... 28 posts all year long. And that's on 3 blogs! For this blog, I've only blogged once this year and that means I'm only headed for 4 posts. Yikes-a-roonie!
So I'm being a pretty rotten journaller, but if Claire comes here and sees this, she ought to feel better about already being at 18 posts this year.
Anyway, I'll for sure try and remember to come back and blog more next month and the months after that.
Just not enough to get all record-breaking again.
